The Icograda endorsed event, the first Chicago International Poster Biennial Exhibition, featured almost 100 designers, selected from over 1,600 total entries and was located outdoors in Daley Bicentennial Plaza, part of Grant Park on Chicago’s beautiful lakefront. The setting was spectacular, as was the design work. The AGI conference was being held at the same time at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and many great poster designers, including Uwe Loesch and Niklaus Troxler were able to view the Biennial during the event. The organisers are already looking forward to putting on an equally spectacular event for 2010.
